Drainage System for Floating Roof Tanks
Floating roof tanks require a drainage system that automatically drains the accumulating rainwater from the floating roof. PROTEGO® SE/K is a single-scissor pipe system that works with sturdy shackle joints. The water is drained by pressure-resistant metal hoses installed without tension. The upper scissor pipe is connected to the roof drain valve, and the lower scissor pipe is connected to the bottom pipe. The water is drained from the tank through the drainage system via the opened roof drain valve.
